Laca Studios ("we", "us", or "our") operates the virtual reality experience Into The Vast ("the App"), available on the Meta Horizon Store. This Privacy Policy describes our practices — and, most importantly, our deliberate choice not to collect, process, or store any personal information from users of the App.
Into The Vast is a purely offline, self-contained immersive experience with no backend servers, no analytics tools, no advertising networks, and no data pipelines of any kind. You can explore the universe in complete privacy.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Into The Vast on the Meta Horizon Store, regardless of location. It is intended to comply with:
Into The Vast is rated for users aged 13 years and older, consistent with the age rating set in our Meta Horizon Store listing. We do not knowingly seek or process any data from any person, regardless of age. Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, no special provisions for children's data are triggered — however, we reiterate that the App is not directed at children under the age of 13.
Into The Vast does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information, either directly or through third-party services. Specifically, we do not collect:

Into The Vast operates entirely on your local device. The App makes no outbound network connections of any kind. There are no servers, cloud services, APIs, databases, or remote endpoints associated with the App. All computation, audio playback, and rendering occur exclusively on your Meta Quest headset.
Into The Vast contains no advertisements of any kind. We have not integrated any advertising SDKs, ad networks, or advertising identifiers. No third-party advertiser has any access to any aspect of your use of the App.
We have not integrated any analytics, telemetry, or monitoring tools into Into The Vast. Services such as Firebase, Unity Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar platforms are not present in the App. We receive no reports or statistics about how you use the App.
Into The Vast does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, virtual currencies, downloadable content (DLC), or any other form of commerce within the App. No financial or payment information is requested or processed.
While Laca Studios does not collect data, you access Into The Vast through a Meta Quest device and the Meta Horizon Store. Meta, as the platform operator, may collect data about your device usage in accordance with Meta's own Privacy Policy. This collection is governed exclusively by Meta and is entirely separate from, and outside the control of, Laca Studios.

Into The Vast does not integrate any other third-party libraries, SDKs, or services that collect user data.
Because Into The Vast does not process any personal data, no legal basis for processing under Article 6 of the GDPR is required or invoked. We do not rely on consent, legitimate interest, contractual necessity, or any other legal basis — because we simply process no personal data.
Even where no data is collected, we acknowledge the rights afforded to you under the GDPR:

Because we collect no personal data, no cross-border transfer of personal data occurs in connection with Into The Vast. The GDPR Chapter V restrictions on international data transfers do not apply.

Into The Vast collects no personally identifiable information (PII) from users. No name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, financial information, or similar identifying data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
Laca Studios does not engage any third parties that collect PII through Into The Vast. No advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers have access to user data via the App.
Into The Vast does not track users over time or across third-party websites or online services. Do Not Track (DNT) signals are not applicable. As Into The Vast does not engage in online behavioural tracking of any kind, no DNT response mechanism is necessary or implemented.

If we update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be made available with an updated effective date, visible on this page and reflected in the Meta Horizon Store listing.
Because no personal data is collected or stored by Laca Studios, there is no data repository to secure against breach or unauthorised access. Into The Vast is designed with a privacy-first architecture. The App's self-contained, offline design eliminates common attack surfaces such as server-side vulnerabilities, data interception in transit, and credential exposure.
As Into The Vast collects no personal data, there is nothing to delete. However, in compliance with Meta Horizon Store requirements and out of respect for user autonomy, we provide the following contact point for any data-related request:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or App functionality. Any updates will be reflected by a revised effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
